AIDeskPro V1.4.4: discover all the new features of the new Version

We are pleased and proud to announce the arrival of AIDeskPro V1.4.4, the latest shiny version of our generative AI tool.

Let's discover the main new features together:

The motto of AIDeskPro is "The best GenAI engines in a single Tool" and we keep our promises! We have tested them and now they are ready to be used by you too: we are making the best and most recent LLMs available to you... Sonnet 3.5 v2 and 3.7, Flash 2.0, Haiku, GPT 4o...

In addition to these LLMs you will find many others, all waiting to be tried!

For users of the S and + versions, it is possible to restrict access to a specific subset of models, chosen at company level.

AIDeskPro is now able to generate diagrams, which will help you understand the answers the tool provides.

You can request Flowcharts, Sequence diagrams, Gantt charts, Quadrants...

Just describe the image you need and AIDeskPro will generate it...

For example: "Can you generate a photorealistic image of a beautiful office in the centre of Florence, with Santa Claus working at a desk?".

Here is how it answered me:

This feature will be made available to all versions of AIDeskPro, but will be subject to quotas (users of the basic and S versions will have a maximum number of generated images per user).

The biggest limitation of LLMs is their Knowledge Cut-off, i.e. their knowledge stops at a specific date, usually a few months back in time.

If you ask them about topics that require knowledge of recent facts, or facts available only by consulting the internet, they will not be able to answer correctly.

To overcome this problem, AIDeskPro can now consult the internet to answer your questions.
For subscribers of the S and + versions, it will be possible to restrict this feature, defining exactly which sites it is allowed to consult.

This feature will be made available to all versions of AIDeskPro, but will be subject to quotas (users of the basic and S versions will have a maximum number of searches per month).

Sometimes the solution is not to consult the whole internet, but to extract targeted information from a specific link.

Now I can ask AIDeskPro to write a LinkedIn post about the services described on the page /en/our-genai-products/aideskpro/.

We have improved the relevance of the sources, i.e. the information extracted from the uploaded documents is first reordered by relevance, before being sent to the AI together with the user's question.

In this way we can obtain much more precise and relevant answers.

At the bottom of every AIDeskPro answer, the Sources are made available, i.e. the documents it took into consideration, among the thousands of documents you provided it with, to answer that specific question.

To make it much easier to consult the source it refers to, by clicking on the source the document will open, in another tab, directly at the page of interest.

And that's not all! For the S and + versions, the Source cutoff is available, i.e. it is possible to set a threshold, to show only highly relevant sources. For example, you can decide to display only sources with a relevance above 80 or 90%.

From today you can also upload images from scanned documents into AIDeskPro, obtaining readable text that the AI can use to answer your questions.

This feature is available only to Users of the + version.

The Sources shown at the bottom of the chat can be downloaded. From today, users of the S and + versions can decide not to allow the download of the documents presented in the sources. It will be possible to configure their AIDeskPro so that it does not do so.

The document import pipeline is now faster, more stable and easier to manage.
In addition, to make it easier for users to upload documents, from today it will be possible to upload

• Single files
• Folders of files
• Zip files
• Zip files containing other zip files

In addition, for users of the S and + versions, it is possible to use Import from Bucket, i.e. it is now possible to import files directly from a Google Cloud Storage bucket.
