AIDeskPro welcomes GPT-4o (Omni)

OpenAI has announced a new arrival: GPT-4o. The "o" stands for Omni and it promises wonders!

We of course integrated it right away to test it, and very shortly we will also release it in our AIDeskPro production environments.
The first thing you notice is the speed with which it provides the answer and the quality of what it provides.

This model too has a 128k token context and has a knowledge cutoff of September 2023.
Compared to its cousin GPT 4 Turbo it is faster and, above all, costs about half!

In our fully up-to-date list of generative AI engines, it sits in the price range of Anthropic Sonnet and Gemini 1 Pro.

We tested it by asking it to create text and to answer questions about documents: in both cases it performed superbly.
