Open Gate is a software house founded in 2004, specializing in custom software development, Android and iOS App development and web front end.
We have an interesting client portfolio: innovative Startups, Mid-sized Businesses and international Large Enterprises.
Our office in Canada will soon be operational too, because we intend to grow in every sense, geographically as well, and we are looking for computing enthusiasts who share this growth project with us.
We are looking for a new analyst/developer to join our development teams to build applications for enterprises and startups. The ideal candidate must have good problem-solving skills, must be able to finish what they start, be curious, have good interpersonal skills and have a deep and overwhelming passion for computing, for development and for new technologies.
Our ideal candidate loves designing and writing software, learning new languages, new frameworks and new technologies.
Secondary to the character traits described above, the following points are considered preferential qualifications.
- Degree in a scientific field Master's degree or bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Science, or a High school diploma in a scientific field
- Good knowledge of English: conferences, material and documentation in computing are always in English. Our clients are often foreign and we happen to work in English. Occasionally, however, we organize internal courses for the most desperate cases and for improvement.
The technologies currently actively used in our projects, and in which the candidate will be able to choose to work, are the following:
- Java EE - EJB, JPA (Hibernate), JAX-RS, JAX-WS, JMS.
- Zk
- Tomcat and JBoss/Wildfly
- iOS - Objective-C and Swift
- Android
- Html5, Css3, Js - JQuery, BootStrap, Angular, Polymer and in general the most common frameworks.
- WordPress
- AWS - Amazon Web Services
- GCP - Google Cloud Platform
- MariaDB, MySQL
- Linux - Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu - There is only one computer in the company running Windows, so get ready to work with Linux or Mac OSX.
- Python, Tensor Flow
