Google Cloud Summit 2024

On 27 June the Google Cloud Summit Milano took place and we at Open Gate, Premier Partner of Google Cloud, were there as sponsors.

We thank everyone for playing with us! We had 😁 so much fun!

During the event, we presented AIDeskPro, our Generative AI tool, challenging the daring participants of our super quiz with questions about the 2023-2024 UEFA Champions League. There was no shortage of hints... but in the end all the contestants managed to bring home the prize (our highly coveted beach towels and our beach paddle sets).

This playful occasion gave us the chance to show AIDeskPro in action: among the many engines available, we decided to use Claude Sonnet 3.5, the brilliant newcomer, available for just a few days in the Vertex AI Model Garden as well. Let's say that the average football knowledge of the Summit participants was not exactly competition level... but we all had a lot of fun! Both the participants and we, the "hosts" of the super quiz.
