Open Gate's Generative AI Event
Yesterday we held our Event on the topic of Generative AI, hosted by Google at its Milan offices.
We thank Google for hosting us and the Speakers who made the Event possible and, above all, our thanks go to all the participants!
We thank you for taking part, not only in terms of physical presence, but also in terms of the great interest shown in the topic we proposed. All the questions asked at the end of the talks show us that we hit the mark!
During the Event our new Gen AI product, AIDeskPro, officially saw the light of day.
The interest shown in our Tool was truly significant and in the coming weeks the Event participants will start testing it first-hand.
But let's take things in order: what did we talk about and who talked to us about it?
We talked about Generative AI, the hottest topic of the moment, but we did not do it in a general sense; rather, we followed a precise path: from theory, to an overview of the Gen AI services already available and ready to integrate… all the way to practice, that is, the use of the tools that GenAI provides, packaged and made available to the end user through the AIDeskPro tool developed by Open Gate.
Why start from Theory
First of all because knowing something is the first step to understanding how to make the best use of it!
Until last year, everyone was asking us to integrate Machine Learning into their projects… then the request changed and the magic word became GenAI.
But what is generative AI? Is it related to machine learning? If so, how?

Our first speaker, Professor Mario Arrigoni Neri, helped us answer these questions and led us along the first stretch of the path, giving us the tools to understand what we would hear next.

An overview of Google Services
The second speaker, Claudia Agostino, Google GenAI Ambassador and Partner Engineer for Open Gate, allowed us to continue our path from theory to practice: Claudia showed us Google's services, in the GenAI field, already available and ready to use.

Claudia not only accompanied us through an overview of Google services, but also explained the substantial difference between the services dedicated to, so to speak, private users and the equivalent services dedicated to businesses.
She also showed us all the security and data sovereignty criteria guaranteed to companies that choose to use Google's Generative AI services.

AIDeskPro, Open Gate's GenAI tool
I am particularly proud of the talk by the third and last speaker, Luca Visconti, CEO and Founder of Open Gate.
I am proud of his talk because an important newborn in the Open Gate family has finally officially seen the light of day: AIDeskPro, our GenAI Tool.

With Luca we completed our path from theory to practice, seeing that Generative AI is a concrete reality, already ready to use, which can simplify our working lives in many ways.
Gen AI is not just the "private user" version, that is, it does not only mean asking Bard or ChatGPT to write an email the way Shakespeare would, or asking it to write a short text on what generative AI is… There is already an offering for business and professional use, with very high added value, ready to be adopted from tomorrow: AIDeskPro.

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who followed us yesterday along our path from theory… to the tools that already exist and can be integrated… to the combination of these tools into a Tool ready to be used!
