The new version of AIDeskPro is here!

In a few hours the new version of AIDeskPro, our generative AI Tool, will be live on our main SaaS distribution.
Let's see together what changes compared to the previous version... and there is plenty that's new!

CHAT

The Chat has become the true beating heart of AIDeskPro: after logging in you will land directly in your new Chat, ready for your next questions.

Directly from within the Chat, you will be able to

• Change the LLM you are using, even several times during the same Chat, so you can start with Gemini Flash's gift for summarizing and then get support from Sonnet in writing a text... without ever leaving the Chat
• Select the Index you want to query, even more than one, and switch between them during the same Chat
• Enable/disable Tools directly from the chat: turn on web search or turn it off to query only and exclusively your documents, or enable Image generation
• Set your favorite LLM, so you find it already selected in any future Chat
• Upload an Image in the Chat: the models accept images as input and you can upload an image to use together with the text, make requests about a generated image or edit an image
• Share a Chat with your colleagues

Moreover, the Chat has never been so accessible!

• You will find a handy "+", i.e. a menu item dedicated to quickly creating a “New chat”
• You will be able to create a chat directly from an index page, using the dedicated button

Of course we did not limit ourselves to the Chat: as you use the Tool you will notice many improvements and new features, which will make the AIDeskPro user experience even more efficient and enjoyable.

A couple of examples?

• We have improved and simplified the list of selectable LLMs and introduced brand new, high-performing LLMs, including Nano Banana for image generation and editing
• The list of Indexes will no longer show those automatically created by uploading a document in the Chat, but they will always be available to you simply by using an optional filter to display them
